• Dear Zee-Bee Families:

On January 11, 2021, the Board of Education approved a gradual reopening plan for our school district. Reopening our schools has been a complex process; however, we remain committed to student success by ensuring a safe and secure learning and working environment for our school community. Through our partnerships with Lake County Health Department, surrounding school districts, and community leaders we will continue to expand educational opportunities for all students.

The approved gradual return to in-person instruction includes our current remote learning plan for second semester beginning January 21, 2021, a transitional hybrid model beginning February 16, 2021, and a return to full in-person learning when the District has determined it can safely accommodate all students in person.

Parents will receive a selection form from their respective schools to inform us about their preferred learning model.

Our plan prioritizes the health and safety of our students, families, and staff as aligned to CDC guidelines. If you have any questions about the reopening plan, please join us at our upcoming Town Hall Zoom Meetings.

    Town Hall Zoom Meetings:

    NTZB: January 14, 2021 @ 7:00 p.m.

    ZBTHS: January 15, 2021 @ 1:00 p.m.

We appreciate your understanding as we work together to provide educational continuity to all students. We will make good on the promise of a healthy, equitable, caring, and educationally excellent Zion-Benton Township High School District 126 for all.
