join the crew

Hey! We're delighted that you're thinking about applying to WebCrew. Our application process is simple, but it does require some work.

WebCrew has opportunities for just about every type of student. We require only two things: Passion and motivation.

Webbies are passionate? You bet. We have passion for doing things correctly; we have passion for helping others and serving our school; we have passion for the finished product.

If you're interested in one or more of the following, you may be a good fit for WebCrew:

Programming, web design, graphic design, drawing, painting, writing, poetry, art, photography, leading, delegating, politics, sports, computers, and many other interests.

You choose what you'd like to do and your time commitment. Our most committed members attend WebCrew every day after school for about an hour. But we also welcome freelance writers, developers and artists. Leadership positions are available.

Benefits of WebCrew include:

  1. Getting experience in what you like to do
  2. Meeting others with shared interests
  3. Giving back to our school and community
  4. All the benefits of a TechCrew club (including Tech parties)
  5. The excitement/satisfaction of having your work (programs, artistry, writings, soap-boxed editorials) available to our whole community (and, technically, the whole world).

You also must not forget that WebCrew will look great on college or scholarship applications. 'Cause with WebCrew, you've actually got something to show for all the time you're spending in the club - it's on the web :)

Good luck - and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to send us an e-mail.

Oh, and one more thing: it would be to your advantage to get familiar with our website before you apply.

Sincerely,
Kyle, Head Honcho
