Purpose:
· To promote
a better understanding of and maintain an enthusiastic interest in the
band program among parents/guardians, band members, instructors, school
and it’s faculty, and the surrounding community.
· To promote leadership, teamwork, and musicianship among the band
members by providing opportunities to work together, organize, and supervise
fundraising events in order to provide additional educational opportunities
such as competitions and exhibitions.
Goals:
· To instill
a sense of pride in each band member regarding their ability to work as
a unit to achieve a goal and develop any and all leadership qualities
important to their future success.
· To enable each band member to nurture their playing ability and
musicianship and assist them in their musical endeavors after high school
whether as a profession or for leisure.
· To provide a platform for parents/guardians, band members, and
faculty to voice interests and concerns as it becomes necessary to enhance
and maintain the band program.
· To work with community and school organizations increasing awareness
and the importance of the band program for the school, students, and the
community.

We all thank these
individuals for their contributions thus far and for the work that will
be done in the future.
Parents and students
are welcome to attend all of the booster meetings. All of the meetings
will be held in the band room at 6:30 PM on the third Wednesday of each
month unless otherwise advertised. It is a casual forum to organize events
and touch base with everyone to take care of business. Please join us
on the following dates:

Remember, this is
an organization that supports the student's music education, and with
hard work and dedication we will give them countless opportunities to
experience the best in music. Note these dates and be sure to make it
