About the Founder of Educate The Children

Mr. Prem Advani, like many of us, was not born in the United States.  He came to this country to study.  He always believed that education would enable him to find a decent job and live comfortably.

Mr. Advani started his American life borrowing money to pay for the first month's rent until he got his first paycheck.  After trying several jobs, Mr. Advani started his own IT company and built it over the years before selling it in 1999.

His passion to further education, drove him to invest part of the proceeds of the sale of his company in Educate The Children; a charitable organization to support the education of underprivileged children around the world.

Since 1999, ETC has supported the education of over 1000 children in over 10 countrie:  India, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Benin, Bolivia and the Dominican Republic.
